Unix System Administrator
Description
FRII is looking for an exceptional experienced Unix System Administrator to support our growing server infrastructure. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, has the ability to handle interrupts while fluidly switching between several projects, and is a fast learner who combines excellent operational judgment with server design, management, and troubleshooting skills.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of unix system administration experience.
- A degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent employment experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent problem-solving, self-direction.
- Comfortable with most aspects of operating system administration; for example, configuration of mail systems, system installation and configuration, fundamentals of security, databases, and installing third-party software.
- Strong background in Managing Unix Servers.
- A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming, and load balancing.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, setting and meeting deadlines while dealing with heavy interruptions.
Desirable Background and Skills
- Significant programming background in any applicable language.
- Experience Managing Windows Servers.
- Experience working in a Virtualized environment (i.e. VMware).
- Experience administering FreeBSD, Centos, and Windows.
- Experience in the ISP industry.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all servers are patched and current.
- Initiates some new responsibilities and helps to plan for the future of the site/network.
- Works on a team of network and system administrators to accomplish tasks.
- Evaluates and recommends purchases; has strong influence on purchasing process.
- Meet publicly with high-end FRII clientele performing sales engineering to aid customers in finding the right solution for them.
- Assist in the design of scalable, highly reliable infrastructure.
- Documenting work procedures thoroughly.

Corporate Sales Representative
Description
Candidates must be highly motivated, aggressive, and have a proven
track record in technology or software sales. As a Corporate Sales
Rep, you will be expected to effectively manage time to do day to
day prospecting activity, generate customer proposals and
presentations, make sales calls, and close new business. The
candidate must be able to meet a monthly quota through business to
business sales efforts. This position will focus on email archiving
and spam/virus filtering services for corporations.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed strategic and tactical selling skills
- Self motivated with positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised a must
- Technically conversant
- Proven track record of success
Responsibilities:
- Produces new revenue by generating leads and gaining customers
- Provides price quotes, lead time and provisioning status to customers as required
- Prepares customer proposals and/or presentations
- Establishes regular contact with customers to continually promote services
- Provides a weekly sales report including activity, pipeline and 30-60-90 day forecast
- Maintains Customer Relationship Management database
- Achieves established quotas
Requires at least 2 years of successful direct sales experience,
preferably with a technology services company.

Voice and Data Consultant
Description
Candidates must be highly motivated, aggressive,
and have a proven track record in telecommunications or data sales. As
a voice and data consultant you will be expected to effectively
manage time to do day to day prospecting activity, generate customer
proposals and presentations, make sales calls, and close new business.
The candidate must be able to meet a monthly quota, make cold calls, and
set-up and attend customer appointments.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of the Telecommunications, PBX, VoIP, Internet Service Provider and/or Computer Industries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-developed strategic and tactical selling skills
- Self motivated with positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised a must
- Technically conversant
- An inherent interest/passion for technology
Responsibilities:

- Provides price quotes, lead time and provisioning status to customers as required
