City of Cherry Hills Village Rings in New Year with new State of the Art Phone System

FORT COLLINS, CO -- January 16, 2007 -- FRII, a leading Colorado Internet and Telecommunications Service Provider, completed deployment of a new Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone service for the City of Cherry Hills Village on January 3rd. The move is part of a bigger picture telecommunications and network infrastructure improvement for the City Administrative offices and Police Department including new computers and upgraded network architecture provided by Technetronic Solutions, Inc.

Eric J. Ensey, Interim City Manager for Cherry Hills Village, knew it was time for change. "The phone services FRII is providing bring us an entirely new set of features. As a City government, we had to be cognizant of capital expenses. Because FRII offers a hosted PBX system using our Internet connection, we only needed to buy phones and not the phone system itself. This allowed us to save money in our budget for other critical network upgrades."
