FRII Sustains SAS-70 Type II Data Center Compliance in 2010

FORT COLLINS, CO — FRII is pleased to announce the successful completion of their annual SAS-70 Type 2 report.

SAS-70 compliance creates a set of controls that affect all processes and regulations associated with a company’s data center to strengthen information security. Any business can become compliant, but SAS-70 is most appropriate for service providers who manage sensitive information on behalf of a publicly traded company or other company storing sensitive information. Beginning in 2008 FRII has sustained SAS-70 compliance to support clientele who need a higher level of security assurance, as well as to benefit all existing data center customers.

Coalfire Systems Inc. (Louisville, CO) performed FRII’s 2010 compliance audit in conjunction with Security and Control LLC (Denver, CO). “Coalfire demonstrated an understanding of the unique challenges of a service provider and delivered a comprehensive report on FRII’s SAS-70 readiness to share with existing and prospective clients,” explains Neely. “We are pleased to announce a successful review with no exceptions noted.”
