Article ID: 583
How do I setup my Actiontec GT701-WG Router with a bridged configuration?
When configuring an Actiontec GT-703, change the vpi/vci within the modem in 'Utilities', then 'DSL Settings'. They sould be set to 0 and 32.
To configure the Actiontec GT701-WG for use as a bridge, you will need to use the Advanced Setup section of the Actiontec's web interface. Below are step-by-step instructions for a bridging configuration.
Once the Actiontec is connected to the computer, open a browser and enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar - this should load the Actiontec Main Menu. Click Setup / Configuration.

The Actiontec is now configured in bridging mode. You will need to setup the individual machines so they each have a FRII-assigned IP with the appropriate gateway and subnet mask. If you are unsure as to what this information should be, please Contact Support.
