FRII owns and operates its own SSAE 18 Type II certified datacenters. FRII’s datacenter clients include the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the State of Colorado, Arapahoe County, La Plata County, the City of Fort Collins, and Computer Associates (one of the largest independent software corporations in the world). FRII provides 24x7x365 network monitoring and support services for over 3,500 customers from an in-house Network Operations Center (NOC) staffed by FRII’s full-time employees.
FRII’s datacenters are fully redundant and designed with separate dual power feeds, three generators, three uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), 120 tons of cooling, and 2 independent 10 gigabit fiber connections to the Internet provided by Tier 1 carriers. The Internet connections utilize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for load balancing and automatic failover.
