FRII Customers can add or remove account or domain/service administrators through myFRII.com.

Administrator Roles

  • Account Administrators have the following privileges on the account:
    • Add, remove, or change email accounts, passwords, and forwarding for any service on the account
    • Manage quotas and usage
    • Add or remove account and domain administrators
    • Update billing information
    • Make payments and view invoices
  • Domain administrators can only make changes for the domain they are added to as an administrator.
    • Add, remove, or change email accounts, passwords, and forwarding for this domain only
    • Manage quotas and usage for this domain only

I Don't Have My Own Domain

  1. Log in to myFRII.com with your administrator email address and password.
  2. In the "Quick Links" box to the right, click on "Add/remove account administrators".
  3. Click on "Add a new administrator to account".
  4. Type the email address for this administrator in the "Email" box and click the "Add Administrator" button.

I Have My Own Domain

  1. Log in to myFRII.com with your administrator email address and password.
  2. In the "Quick Links" box to the right, click on "Add/remove account administrators".
  3. Click on "Add a new administrator to account" or "Add a new administrator to domain."
  4. Type the email address for this administrator in the "Email" box and click the "Add Administrator" button.

Warning.png If you are trying to add a domain administrator email address which is not hosted through FRII, contact support.

FRII customers have the option to pay their bill partially or in full securely through myFRII.com:

  1. Log in to myFRII using the administrative email address and password for your account.
  2. You will see some "Quick Links" on the right side. Click on Pay your bill to make your payment.

  3. If you do not have a credit card on file with FRII you will be asked for that information.
    • You can also set this up to be an automatic credit card payment if you wish.
  4. If you already have a credit card on file with FRII, that information will automatically appear.
    • You can change the payment information if you like or enter the amount of your payment.

FRII Customers can update their credit card information securely online through myFRII.com:

  1. Log in to myFRII with your Administrative email address.
  2. You will see a small box to the right which says "Quick Links."
  3. Click on "Change your credit card info."

  4. Enter all your credit card information.
    • If you'd like this to be an Automatic Payment, check that box as well.
  5. You can also remove your credit card profile by clicking the "delete it" link.

Warning.png Updating your credit card information will NOT run your card for the month however. If you need to do this, you should click on "Make a Payment" instead and enter your card information there, along with the amount you wish to pay.

Password Change Procedure

Changing your password is an easy process. However, before changing your password, you should be familiar with the consequences of this password change as well as how to choose a secure password.

  • Changing your password modifies access to most of the password-protected services you receive from FRII that use the same username.
    • This may include dialup, DSL, FTP, and shell access.
    • LightBulb.pngHowever, changing your password via myFRII does not change the saved passwords in your web browser, nor change the configured password in either your dialup settings or DSL modem.
      • You will need to change your password in those locations after changing the password with this form.
  • Once you change your password, it will take 10-15 minutes to fully update before you can use your new password!

Choosing a Secure Password

  • Due to security concerns, FRII has implemented complexity requirement standards for passwords:
    • Must be a minimum of 12 characters, but no longer than 40
    • Requires at least one upper and one lower case letter
    • Requires at least one number or special character (symbol)

These rules ensure that your password is complex enough to adequately prevent unauthorized access to your account.

Changing Your Email Password

  1. Log in to https://mail.frii.com/ and choose Mail Settings.

  2. Click My Email Options on the left menu.

  3. Use the Change Password section and fill out all the fields, then click Update Password.
    • Once you change your password, it will take 10-15 minutes to fully update before you can use your new password!

Changing Your myFRII Password

LightBulb.pngThis will change your password for dialup, DSL, FTP, and shell. This will not change your email password. To change your email password, follow the instructions above.

  1. To change your password you will need to log in to myFRII.

  2. Once you are logged in, you will need to choose the service for which you want to change your password. Your services should be listed under the Service heading. Click the service type next to the Login name/Domain you are wanting to change the password for.

  4. Two boxes will be available to type in. The first is to enter your new password, and the second is to confirm it. You must enter identical passwords into these boxes. Finally, click the "Change" button.
